Health dept. reports four more Delta variant cases

Even with the government’s vaccination program gaining ground, the threat of the deadly coronavirus remains. The Health Department, the Philippine Genome Center and the UP National Institutes of Health find more variants of concern in the latest genome sequencing. This led the government to alert local leaders to dampen threats, particularly of the more transmissible delta variant, first detected in India.
