Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 3) – Boxing icon and Senator Manny Pacquiao confirmed on Monday about talks for his next fight.
“There are ongoing negotiations right now,” Pacquiao said in a virtual media briefing.
He did not disclose more details and only said is open to fight between this year and 2022.
The eight-division world boxing champion added he will announce in due time whether his next fight will be his last.
Pacquiao last fought in July 2019 via a split decision victory over Keith Thurman, where he won the World Boxing Association super welterweight title.
Pacquiao holds a 62-7-2 win-loss-draw record in his 26-year boxing career.
