Government anti-communist body eyes looking into community pantry organizers

As community pantries mushroom to over 350 nationwide, the government anti-communist task force admits it wants to look into the backgrounds of organizers and volunteers. But police say there is no order to carry out these background checks.

Amid these conflicting statements, community pantry organizers are shifting their focus to continue helping those in need.
