DFA summons Chinese ambassador over vessels in Julian Felipe reef

Around 240 Chinese maritime militia vessels are still roaming in Philippine waters. That’s according to the national task force for the West Philippine Sea. The vessels were spotted around Pagkakaisa banks and Pag-asa islands. These areas are within the country’s exclusive economic zone. The Foreign Affairs department earlier summoned the Chinese ambassador over Chinese vessels near the Julian Felipe reef.
