The tectonic quake that hit the town at 7:20 pm had a depth of 26 kilometers. It was initially reported at magnitude 4.3, but was upgraded later by Phivolcs.
No damage or aftershocks are expected, Phivolcs added.
Intensity IV was felt in Iba, Botolan, Cabangan and San Felipe, Zambales.
Intensity III was recorded in Olongapo City, San Antonio, San Marcelino, San Narciso, Palauig and Subic, Zambales; and Floridablanca, Pampanga.
Intensity II, on the other hand, was felt in Candelaria, Masinloc and Santa Cruz, Zambales; Mabalacat City, Pampanga; Makati City; Malabon City; City of Manila; Quezon City; Villasis, and Pangasinan.
