Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 2) — Online business owners still have the rest of the month to register with the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the agency announced on Wednesday.
This is the second extension after the agency ordered businesses to declare past transactions and pay taxes. The bureau noted a surge of applicants trying to meet the initial August 31 deadline and some “resource constraints”, in its memorandum circular 92-2020.
Business owners who fail to register on time will face penalties, the BIR warned anew.
