
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 24) – Around 154,000 customers in Rizal province will face a 15-hour water service interruption beginning Thursday due to a transmission network upgrade in Binangonan town, Manila Water Company, Inc. said in Wednesday.
The east zone concessionaire said in an advisory that the water interruption will begin at 5 p.m. of Thursday, June 25, until 8 a.m. of Friday, June 26.
Households, commercial, and business establishments in 19 barangays in Taytay, Angono, and Binganonan will be affected.
Here is the list of affected barangays:
Taytay – Muzon, San Juan
Angono – San Isidro, San Roque, Sto. Nino, San Vicente, Kalayaan, San Pedro Poblacion, Ibaba Poblacion, Itaas, Bagumbayan
Binangonan – Pag-asa, Tayuman, San Carlos, Tagpos, Bilibiran, Pantok, Palangoy, Darangan
Manila Water advised residents of the said barangays to store enough water.
Once supply is restored, customers are advised to allow a few minutes for flushing before using water from the tap.
