Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 20) — It will be a rainy Saturday for some parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, due to two weather systems, according to a government weather forecaster.
The low pressure areas (LPA) west of Batangas and the intertropical convergence zone will also bring cloudy skies and scattered rains over Central Luzon, Bicol, and provinces of La Union, Pangasinan, Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon, PAGASA weather specialist Meno Mendoza said in a briefing on Saturday.
Rains are also forecast in Zamboanga City and regions of Soccsksargen and Bangsamoro, Mendoza said.
The rest of Luzon and the Visayas will have generally fair weather, with isolated rains brought by localized thunderstorms, he said.
The official said the LPA may dissipate in the next few days.
