Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 15)— General community quarantine measures in the province of Bohol will remain until the end of June, the provincial government confirmed.
Bohol Governor Arthur Yap, through Executive Order No. 31 dated Friday and released Sunday, said the province-wide GCQ will still be in effect from June 16 to June 30 to “curtail the threats” of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bohol first downgraded its lockdown measures to GCQ in May.
The directive also permitted the gradual reopening of the food industry and restaurants at 30% capacity, in line with the approved recommendation of the Trade Department.

Religious gatherings will also be allowed, with limited guests practicing physical distancing protocols.
The announcement came prior to President Rodrigo Duterte’s decision on the new COVID-19 lockdown rules nationwide. The chief executive is expected to address the nation on Monday, with the previous quarantine orders set to expire.
