Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 13) — A magnitude-4.9 earthquake jolted a town in Davao Oriental province, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said Saturday.
The quake at Governor Generoso town, which was 10 kilometers deep, was recorded at 10:11 a.m., Phivolcs said.
It added aftershocks may occur, but it did not expect damage.
Shaking was also felt in Malungon, Sarangani.
