The agony of waiting for an OFW homecoming

When government began to send Filipino overseas in the 1970’s it was because of the lack of jobs at home. By the 1990’s we began to call them OFWs, modern-day heroes or Bagong Bayani. They sent to their families money which we eventually call remittances and does not only supported their families but also boosted the country’s economy.
