Quezon City COVID-19 cases now at 1,104

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 24) — Coronavirus cases in Metro Manila’s biggest area is now at 1,104, the local government said Saturday.

The Quezon City government said 133 people got well, but 106 others lost the fight to COVID-19.

The local government also reported 60 quarantine protocol violators.

On a nationwide scale, the Health department reported 7,192 as of Friday.

Total number of recoveries is at 762, while the death toll is 477.

President Rodrigo Duterte extended the enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and other high risk areas until May 15.
