Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 18) — Quezon City recorded 20 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 1,016, the office of the mayor said.
Of the number, 83 recovered while 90 died, according to a bulletin released Friday by Mayor Joy Belmonte’s office.
The local government conducted a total of 174 tests on Friday.
According to the Department of Health, the country has 5,878 COVID-19 cases, including 487 who got well, and 387 deaths.
