
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 12) — The Department of Foreign Affairs on Sunday has recorded three new coronavirus infections and no new deaths among Filipinos overseas.
The total number of Filipinos COVID-19 cases abroad now stands at 654. Meanwhile, the death toll remains at 84.
According to DFA, 382 Filipinos overseas are undergoing treatment, while 188 have already recovered.
The foreign affairs department has reported Filipino COVID-19 cases in a total of 40 countries or regions worldwide. These include 226 cases in Asia Pacific Region, 83 cases in Middle East/Africa, 220 cases in Europe, and 125 cases in the Americas.
Globally, there are over over 1,778,500 people infected with the viral disease. Of this number, some 108,900 resulted in death, while over 404,800 patients have already recovered.
