Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 12) — The Bicol region reports another person tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the area to 18.
This was confirmed by Department of Health-Bicol Director Ernie Vera who said the patient is a 28-year-old female who had previous exposure to someone who was also COVID-19 positive.
The patient is currently admitted at the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, a COVID-19 patient from Calbayog City is now ready to be discharged after swabs came back negative.
The patient was the second confirmed case in Eastern Visayas.
