Filipinos in Singapore who tested positive for COVID-19 now at 7

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 13) — Another Filipino has tested positive for the new coronavirus disease or COVID-19 in Singapore on Thursday.

This brings the total number of infected Filipinos in that country to seven.

According to a report by the Singapore Ministry of Health, the additional confirmed case is a 35-year-old male who is a Singapore Work Pass holder, and who visited the Philippines from February 24 to March 1. 

He was confirmed to have the viral disease on March 12, and is now confined in isolation at a medical facility. He is linked to another Filipino who also tested positive.
