This is the first time lawmakers will have an inquiry on the matter after the country’s top lawyer filed a case against the media giant before the Supreme Court.
The hearing takes place a little over a month before the network’s franchise expires on March 30th.
The House Committee on legislative franchises will akso meet today but bills to renew the ABS-CBN’s franchise won’t be on the agenda.
