Man falls from LRT station in Quezon City

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 15) — A man fell to his death from an elevated station of Light Rail Transit 1 (LRT-1) in Quezon City Saturday noon, authorities said.

According to the Quezon City Police District Station 1, the 47-year-old man jumped from the east side platform of the Balintawak Station and fell on the southbound lane of EDSA.

The man was rushed to the Quezon City General Hospital near the station, but was declared dead on arrival.

Police said they are investigating the incident.
