Health Department confirms first novel coronavirus case

The patient with the first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus here in the Philippines did not show any symptoms of the disease. But Health authorities warn even if the patient is “asymptomatic” she can still spread the virus.

Authorities are now tracing people who were in contact with the patient.
