Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 10) — Maine Mendoza’s fans have been busy chirping about the social media star-turned-actress this year.
They have tweeted so much about Mendoza that she was hailed — yet again — the most talked about celebrity on Twitter.
The hashtag #MaineMendoza was also the top tweeted entertainment-related hashtag this year.
“2019 is a fruitful year for Maine, having starred in a sitcom, a romantic movie, and a handful of new endorsements under her belt,” Twitter said Tuesday in a statement.
Pinoy Big Brother winner Maymay Entrata is the second most tweeted about celebrity, followed by Kisses Delavin and Mendoza’s former on-screen partner Alden Richards.
The hashtag #Mayward, which is about Entrata and her on-screen partner Edward Barber, is the second top talked about entertainment-related hashtag in the country, followed by #AldenRichards.
Meanwhile, the official Twitter account of the NBA is the most tweeted about sports account on the social media site, while #UPFight is the top sports hashtag in 2019.
