Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 8)— Authorities are investigating the case of a dead baby found in a restroom at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Sunday.
In a statement, Manila International Airport Authority said General Manager Ed Monreal has ordered all CCTV footage near CR No. 302 in Terminal 3 to be reviewed.
MIAA said a “full-term baby girl” was found in the restroom with underwear believed to belong to the mother found around her neck.
The MIAA medical team tried to administer basic life support procedures to the infant, but to no avail.
Airport authorities have coordinated with scene of the crime operatives to conduct an investigation on the incident.
