
(CNN Philippines, November 1) — The Philippines 3×3 men’s basketball team has qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic qualifying tournament, according to the FIBA website Friday.
Meanwhile, Team USA is grouped in Pool B with Lithuania, Belgium, South Korea, and New Zealand.
The top three countries will earn a ticket to Japan where the sport will make its debut.
The FIBA 3×3 Olympic qualifying tournament will happen in India March next year.
The national squad is bracketed in Pool C with Slovenia, France, Qatar, and Dominican Republic.
