Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 15) — A man fell on the tracks of the MRT-3 in between Buendia and Ayala stations, causing train interruptions, the train system’s management said.
In a tweet, the MRT said “a street vagrant” jumped over and fell on the train’s tracks at 12:16 p.m.
“The matter is now being addressed by concerned MRT-3 personnel, medical personnel, and police authorities,” the MRT said.
The MRT said train movement is “being regulated.”
A train at the MRT Ayala Station stopped at around 12:10 p.m., with passengers being informed that there was a “technical problem.”
Passengers at the MRT Quezon Avenue Station were also told the same. A guard told them to take the bus instead because the train line has suspended operations due to a “major technical problem.”
