Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 13) — The camp of Vice President Leni Robredo will file a manifestation Monday, asking the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) to uphold its rules in resolving the poll protest.
This will come before a press conference to be held on Manila on the same day.
No details have been released on what the manifestation will contain.
Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin has earlier denied reports that the Supreme Court, sitting as the PET, has voted 8-6 in favor of continuing the poll protest.
The Supreme Court has twice deferred ruling on whether or not Marcos’ electoral protest against Vice President Leni Robredo will continue, after the recount of 5,415 ballots in three pilot provinces such Iloilo, Negros Oriental, and Camarines Sur.
Marcos has moved to include three more provinces in the recount, while Robredo has asked the PET to release the initial recount results.

Robredo’s camp earlier said she will still hold the position despite the decision, arguing that PET would only determine whether Marcos’ protest will be dismissed or will merit expanding the scope of the recount.
