Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 18) — Some areas in Luzon will experience power interruptions this week due to maintenance operations by the Manila Electric Company (Meralco).
Replacement of poles and reconductoring power lines, among other maintenance activities, will cause power interruptions that will last for as long as five hours in some areas from August 19 (Monday) to August 25 (Sunday). Affected areas include portions of Metro Manila and nearby provinces such as Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Bulacan.
