Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 23) — CNN Philippines senior anchor/correspondent Pinky Webb was recognized at the 27th Golden Dove Awards of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Tuesday.
Webb was hailed as Best Newscaster for the news program “Balitaan.” This is the second time she received the award from KBP.
The veteran journalist was also named Best Public Affairs Show Host for her daily program “The Source.”
Meanwhile, the network’s daytime Filipino newscast program “Newsroom Ngayon” bagged the Best Newscast in Metro Manila award.
CNN Philippines has seven nominations in this years Golden Dove Awards.
The recognitions are conferred on the “best stations, personalities, and programs” for the year.
Last year, CNN Philippines bagged four Golden Doves.
