Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 16) — The National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) is slowly releasing the partial and official results of the midterm elections and so far, the names at the top of the senatorial list remains constant.
The latest partial, official tally results released at 12 a.m. Thursday said reelectionist senator Cynthia Villar leads with 10,416,332 votes.

She is followed by Senator Grace Poe, another reelectionist, with 9,151,162 votes.
Rounding out the top 15 are:

The NBOC has canvassed 89 of the 167 certificates of canvass as of midnight and will resume counting at 10 a.m. Thursday.
The latest partial, unofficial tally, meanwhile, shows similar names in the top 15, although some placements are different.
As of the latest results at 7:20 a.m., Villar is still at the lead with 24,929,008 votes.

Speaking to CNN Philippines Wednesday, COMELEC Commissioner Rowena Guanzon said 96 percent of election returns have been transmitted for canvassing.
The poll body expects 100 percent transmission to happen by Friday, May 17, and the list of winning senators may be released by Monday, May 20.
