Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 29) — Rotational power interruptions are expected in Luzon on Monday as authorities raised the grid alert again.
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines announced a red alert status will be raised from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday due to lack of power supply reserve. This may result in rotational power outages in some areas.
The following areas will be affected between 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.:
Meanwhile, a yellow alert is up from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. because of minimal reserves. Power interruptions are not expected during these periods.
