The vintage bomb that caused the 11:30 a.m. explosion was among those placed for safekeeping in the police station’s Explosive Ordinance Disposal storage room.
There were no casualties and the fire trucks responded to contain the fire.
The police are currently investigating the explosion that happened within their own office.
