Local gov’t yet to pay ₱36.9M for Boracay’s trash collection

As thousands of tourists are expected to flock to Boracay Island in Aklan province this summer, authorities discuss the next phase of the island’s rehabilitation.

They are now looking at the possibility of requiring tourists to pay more to maintain the environment.
