
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 23) — A passenger van careened along the North Luzon Express Way (NLEX), leading to the death of six of its passengers.
Five of the passengers were injured.
According to Toll Regulatory Board Spokesperson Albert Suansing, the Hyundai 100 van lost control from a blown tire while it was traversing through the northbound lane of the express way.
The impact from the tire caused the van’s door to open, throwing out five of the passengers.
Meanwhile, the van rolled over, crushing some of the people inside it.
Authorities are currently investigating the case.
