Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 13) — A plane went off the runway Wednesday at the Kalibo International Airport, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines reported.
Initial reports said the aircraft from Far Eastern Air, a McDonnell Douglas MD-83, overextended to the grassy area while executing a turn.
All 122 passengers on board were reported safe.
The aircraft has been towed to the remote parking bay.
