Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 13) — The number of FIlipino online users have grown over the years.
The latest survey by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) reported that 47 percent of all adult Filipinos have used the internet as of the last quarter of 2018.
This was a record high not only for the statistic itself, but among all demographics surveyed by the SWS as well – across regions, socioeconomic classes, educational attainment, and gender.
The survey was conducted from December 16 to 19, using face-to-face interviews with 1,440 Filipinos age 18 and above, 360 each from Balance Luzon, Metro Manila, the Visayas and Mindanao.
There is a sampling error margin of ±2.6 percent for national percentages, and ±5 percent for regional percentages.
