
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 19) — Some local flights for Tuesday were canceled due to bad weather brought by Tropical Depression Urduja.

In its 11 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Urduja has left the country after battering the Eastern Visayas region.
Thirty-one are confirmed dead, while 49 others are missing in Eastern Visayas after the storm’s wrath, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
The state weather bureau said another low pressure area may enter the country on Wednesday.
