Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 14) — Singer and Actress Rachelle Ann Go was ecstatic to meet Oscar Best Actress Emma Stone in London Thursday.
Go posted a photo of her and Stone after the Hollywood star met the cast of Tony-Award winning musical “Hamilton” in London.
Go plays Eliza Schuyler, the wife of titular character Alexander Hamilton, in the West End version of the musical.
She could not help but fangirl upon meeting Stone.
“I adore her so much!!!”she said.
Go also thanked Stone for coming to see the musical, held at the Victoria Palace Theater.
Four hours from posting, the photo has already gained more than 18,000 likes on Instagram.
Fellow Filipina Hamilton actress Christine Allado who plays Peggy Schuyler, Eliza’s sister, also shared a photo of the three with cast member Rachel John.
“Looooved meeting the beautiful and incredibly sweet @emmastone at @hamiltonwestend tonight,” Allado said.
Hamilton is a critically-acclaimed play about the life of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. It was written by Tony-Award winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Prior to playing Eliza, Go had starred as Gigi in the Broadway version of “Miss Saigon” and Fantine in the West End production of “Les Miserables.”
Allado, meanwhile, took the lead role of Vanessa in the West End production of “In the Heights,” which was also written by Miranda.
