Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 30) — They may live in the relatively violent world of mixed martial arts, but Ultimate Fighting Championship fighters Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne have finally tied the knot.
The couple was married on Sunday in Hawaii, Browne’s home state.
In a series of Instagram posts on Wednesday, Rousey shared some moments from the “happiest day of [her] life.”
The Olympic judo bronze medalist also vowed to love her husband “forever and always.”
UFC president Dana White was unable to attend the wedding as it happened on the same day as the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor fight, where Mayweather beat McGregor in ten rounds via technical knockout.
Earlier this year, Browne, who competes in the UFC heavyweight division, proposed to Rousey two years after they started dating.
