
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 25) — (UPDATE) Tropical Storm Jolina (international name: Pakhar) now crosses Quirino province after making landfall in Aurora early Friday evening.
As of 10 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Jolina was spotted in the vicinity of Maddela, Quirino, with maximum sustained winds of 80 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of 110 kph.
It is forecast to move 19 kph northwest, and expected to exit Luzon on Saturday morning.
Jolina made landfall in Casiguran, Aurora around 8:15 p.m.
