
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 3) — Tropical Storm Emong left Philippine waters as of 4 a.m. on Monday, weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In a severe weather bulletin issued at 5 a.m., PAGASA said Emong, which strengthened from a tropical depression to a tropical storm Sunday afternoon, was last spotted 570 kilometers north-northeast of Basco, Batanes.
PAGASA did not raise any storm alerts, and only forecast moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall in areas within 300 kilometers of the storm’s radius.
Emong has center winds of 90 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 115 kph.
