Attraction! Reaction! partners with Grrl Gang Manila for their monthly gig this Saturday, July 1 at Route 196. Enjoy an all-girl lineup featuring Barbie Almalbis, BP Valenzuela, The Buildings, and Taken By Cars. Female komikeros Mich Cervantes and Hulyen will also be doing a reading from the Kabuwanan komiks anthology.

MUNI Meetup: Zero Waste Living
Learn how to live a waste-free lifestyle with some of the leading zero-waste advocates at the Muni Meetup this Saturday, July 1 at Roots Katipunan. Meet Bea Misa Crisostomo of Ritual, the ladies of Sinaya Cup, Hannah & Adrian of Tinkerknot, and Gela Petines of Reef Nomads and learn a few tips and tricks from them on how to have a lifestyle without waste.
In line with the theme, participants are encouraged to bring reusable cups and containers for their food, and “at least one thing at home that we don’t really want to chuck, but no longer really have to use.”
There is limited seating so those interested should buy tickets in advance. Prices are ₱300 for regular rate (until June 30) and ₱350 for walk-ins/door charge.

Papel de Ahensiya: Local Loca Pop-up Fair
Enjoy pins, paper products, crafts, and patches galore this Saturday, July 1 at Papel de Ahensya in Cubao Expo. Get your hands on varuious goods such as patches and stickers from Fine Time Studios, zines and comics by Pancho Karambola, comics by Hey Mady, and Speculiars handmade crafts.

XX XX presents Mark Redito
Los Angeles-based musician Mark Redito is in town on July 1 to perform his kinetically charged version of electronica. Redito’s music has been recognized by journalists and critics around the world, including Vice and Pitchfork, which wrote “Redito’s directness and the lush music that makes him one of the most promising artists out of L.A. at the moment.”

Pursuit Fair by Purveyr
The Pursuit Fair seeks to provide an avenue for “thoughtful brands” to reach “thoughtful communities.” The goal is to highlight local entrepreneurship and steer consumers towards products made by Filipino creators. Local participating brands for the fair on July 1, Saturday, at Century City Mall Events Center include Proudrace, Fairwell Clothing, Euniform, TUSK Social, YDG Coffee,and District B. The entrance fee is ₱100, with freebies and discounts from partner merchants.

Escolta turns into a vintage market on July 1, Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., in Saturday x Future Market at HUB: Make Lab. Second hand goods, vintage finds, arts and crafts, indie brands and labels, hand made products, and plants will be at full display at the market.

Solution Saturdays: Volume 0 by Solution Space PH
Solution Space aims to provide a “positive environment of creativity and cooperation,” as it launches a space to solve problems together. The event includes an open house, featuring the D Series Launch by Andrea Lopa, the Anti-Aswang Collection Launch by Possessed Palay, and a happy hour from 2 pm to 6 pm with craft brews from Monkey Eagle Brewery. The works of visual artist Luis Lopa and furniture designer and pottery artist Mariel Lopa will also be on display.
