Satchmi Vinyl Day
In 2017, the Czech firm that produces 60 percent of all vinyl records, GZ Media, will be churning out around 24 million records — a staggering increase from decades ago when the drop in manufacturing went down to only 200,000 a year. Now, record stores are stocked with vinyl presses of both old school albums and new releases.
On Saturday, June 3, Satchmi will be holding its annual Vinyl Day, where a vast number of records will be discounted up to 30 percent off. Bands such as Apartel, Outerhope, and Oh, Flamingo! will be performing.
