
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 13) — A magnitude-5.3 earthquake hit Wao, Lanao del Sur Thursday morning.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported the earthquake hit at 4:01 a.m., 8 km northwest of Wao.
The quake was an aftershock of the magnitude-6.0 earthquake that jolted Wao, Lanao del Sur Wednesday morning.

PHIVOLCS reported the following intensities for the quake:
Intensity VI – Kalilangan, Bukidnon
Intensity V – Wao, Lanao Del Sur; Valencia City
Intensity IV – Kadingilan, Maramag & Pangantucan, Bukidnon
Intensity III – Cagayan de Oro City
Intensity II – Cotabato City; Kidapawan City
The magnitude-6.0 quake on Wedneday damaged several structures in the town, and left a 2.5-meter long crack in the national highway.
