Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The National University Lady Bulldogs made quick work of a hapless Adamson Lady Falcons squad, 25-21, 25-20, 25-19, on Wednesday afternoon at the FilOil Flying V Centre.
Jaja Santiago powered the Lady Bulldogs’ attack with 15 points, while Jorelle Singh chipped in 10 points.
Adamson was looking great in the third set with a 12-7 lead, but it could not sustain the momentum and fell in the end.
NU notched its second consecutive victory and improved to 5-3 in the team standings.
Jema Galanza tallied 15 markers for the Lady Falcons who remained winless in eight outings.
NU will go up against the De La Salle University Lady Spikers on March 12, Sunday, at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
