Metro Manila (CNN Philippines )— Two more Miss Universe queens have arrived in Manila for the Miss Universe 2016.
Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori landed in the Philippines Tuesday while Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres touched down in Manila Wednesday morning.
The two former titleholders took to social media to express their excitement for the upcoming coronation.
Mori, who arrived from Japan, thanked the Philippines in an Instagram post, saying “We’re here! Thank you for your warm welcome.”
She also posted a picture of her holding Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach’s photo, captioned “All you beautiful girls… Are you ready?!”
Mori is the second Japanese woman to win Miss Universe and is a model, actress and dancer in her home country.
Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres is also ecstatic to be back in the Philippines.
In an Instagram post following her arrival, Torres told Filipino fans she missed them and called the Philippines her second home.
Her return to the Philippines is a reunion of sorts for the Puerto Rican beauty queen.
In the mid-90’s, Torres visited the Philippines for the Miss Universe 1994 coronation and ended up staying in the country for five years. She had a successful career in the Philippines and starred in several movies and TV shows before returning to Puerto Rico.
Last month, the beauty queen revealed she had signed a deal with Filipino talent agency Manila Genesis.
There are also reports that Torres will join Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen as one of the judges in the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. However, neither Torres nor the Miss Universe organization confirmed this.
Other Miss Universe titleholders are coming to the country for the crowning of Miss Universe 2016. Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen, who was crowned in the Philippines, is set to return to the country on January 26 as a judge in the pageant.
Earlier this week, Miss Universe 1991 Lupita Jones arrived in Manila.
