Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Tropical Depression Auring keeps its strength as it continues to make its way to Surigao del Sur.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), as of 7 a.m. today, the center of Auring was located 100km east southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.
“Auring” is expected to make landfall in Surigao del Sur between tonight and early tomorrow morning.
Signal number 1 is raised over the following areas:

Negros provinces
southern Leyte and Cebu
Agusan del Sur
Agusan del Norte
Surigao del Sur
Surigao del Norte including Siargao Island
Dinagat Province
Misamis Oriental
Misamis Occidental
Bukidnon
Camiguin
Davao del Norte
northern Davao Oriental
northern Zamboanga del Norte
Lanao del Norte
northern Lanao del Sur
Compostela Valley.
Tropical Depression Auring is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility on Thursday morning.
