
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — TNT KaTropa regained their solid form after dismantling the Phoenix Fuel Masters, 117-98, on Friday night at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Kelly Williams led KaTropa with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
TNT established the tempo early in the match and never looked back. They took a 60-45 edge heading into the halftime break.
Jayson Castro and Troy Rosario contributed 18 points and 17 points respectively for KaTropa who improved to a 3-2 win-loss card.
It was also the first official win for Nash Racela at the helm for TNT.
The Fuel Masters, meanwhile, suffered their second straight blowout loss and fell to 2-3 in the standings.
Mark Borboran tallied 18 markers for Phoenix.
KaTropa will next battle the Alaska Aces on December 23 (Friday) at the PhilSports Arena.
