The Red Ninja Year Ender

Spend your Saturday watching today’s best local indie acts such as Autotelic, Chicosci, Gracenote, Rusty Machines, and Tom’s Story. Catch these bands at The Red Ninja Year Ender that’ll be held at B-Side, The Collective, Makati, on Saturday, Dec. 10. Doors open at 2 p.m. Entrance is ₱500 and tickets can be purchased online. Better Living Through Xeroxography XI (BLTX)

This Saturday, take part in an independent press expo of zines, comics, books, and clothes featuring local independent creators: Alamaat, Balangay Books, BatisAware, Cubaohaus, High Chair, Josel Nicolas, Kowtow Komiks, Librong Lira, Mesandel Virtusio Arguelles, Mich Cervantes, Ricky Lee, Teorya Clothing, Wina Wonders, the Youth & Beauty Brigade, Zigzag Animals, and many more. BLTX will happen in conjunction with other events, under the same name, across the country mainly in Davao, Naga, and Baguio City. Pursuit Fair

Purveyr will be holding a gathering of local brands and businesses at the Pursuit Fair: “Thoughtful brands breed a thoughtful community.” Brands that will take part in the fair include: quirky pun-filled accessories brand Pundesal, minimalist lifestyle goods and decor enterprise Basic Commodity, artisanal paper products seller 23060, and vibrant print and pop art-infused clothing brand Randolf. The Pursuit Fair will be held at Warehouse Eight, Don Chino Roces Ave., Makati, on Saturday, Dec. 10. Doors open at 1 p.m. Tickets are priced at ₱80 for general admission and ₱150 for special admission inclusive of a ₱100 discount and a Purveyr sticker pack. Katha: Musika x Sining-Biswal

This Saturday, Katha, a series of bi-monthly events will be showcasing collaborative performances of music and visual art. The event will feature musicians and artists such as: Patty Lim and Josh Morente of artists’ platform The Love Tank, BVRN and Belle Cano, and a drum circle facilitated by Andy Pinto. Likha: A Christmas Bazaar

Support local artists at the Likha: Christmas Bazaar. The bazaar will feature local artists of different mediums selling their wares for your holiday needs. The event’s featured artists include: watercolor painter Lexter Victorio of The Hanged Man, Honey Papa-Rebustillo of handcrafted accessories brand Honeyd Things, freelance artist and writer Jonnete Valenciano of Ambedo Art, and comic artists’ group Yugto. There will also be workshops, portrait drawings, and live art demonstrations at the bazaar.
