Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Business establishments and residents of Quezon City are gearing up for a three-day water interruption that will start tomorrow.
Among them is Wilma Reyes, who spent today doing her laundry.
She wants to get the chore out of the way as she prepares for the 43-hour water interruption that will begin on Monday night.
Some 300,000 Maynilad customers are expected to lose water supply in the next three days due to major pipeline maintenance.
The valve replacement will affect 15 barangays in Quezon City.

Affected customers, like Reyes, will fill plastic drums for the their water supply, while others will make do with smaller containers.
Some businesses will be affected, too.
Like the employees of a car wash station along Tandang Sora Avenue who will fill up heavy-duty plastic drums to avoid having to close shop during the interruption.
Nick De Juan, one of the employees, said it is better to lose electricity than to have no running water.
Maynilad says customers may call their hotline or reach them through their social media accounts for water delivery in case their supply runs out.
Barring any other repair problems, water supply in affected areas should be back by 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Maynilad is hopeful the repairs will run smoothly to avoid further inconvenience to their customers.
