UAAP: Adamson books last Final Four spot with 76-61 victory over UST

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The Final Four cast is now complete.

The Adamson University Soaring Falcons edged out the University of Sto. Tomas Growling Tigers, 76-61, on Wednesday evening at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Rob Manalang had 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting and two assists for the Soaring Falcons.

Adamson improved to a 7-5 win-loss slate and in the process shut the Final Four door to the University of the Philippines and National University.

The Growling Tigers were held to just 11 points in the payoff period who fell to a 3-10 record.

AdU will be joining La Salle, Ateneo, and Far Eastern University in the playoff round.

Jerrick Ahanmisi contributed 16 points and two rebounds for the Soaring Falcons who enter their first Final Four appearance in five seasons.

Jon Sheriff led UST with 13 markers and six boards.

Adamson tackles National University on November 13 (Sunday) at Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
