Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Detained former Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. was rushed to the hospital on Saturday due to vomiting, severe headache, and hypertension, police said.
Revilla remains under observation. He was brought to St. Luke’s Medical Center in BGC, Taguig upon recommendation of the Philippine National Police General Hospital.
Revilla was detained at the PNP Custodial Center in 2014 for plunder and graft charges in connection with the alleged pork barrel scam.
