
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Typhoon Lawin (international name: Haima) caused the cancellation of some domestic flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), according to the advisory issued by the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).
Here are the canceled flights as of 9:00 a.m. Wednesday:
5J 504 Manila-Tuguegarao
5J 505 Tuguegarao-Manila
2P 2014 Manila-Tuguegarao
2P 2015 Tuguegarao-Manila
State weather bureau PAGASA said “Lawin” is gaining strength as it threatens Northern Luzon. The typhoon is expected to make landfall in Cagayan on Thursday, and may leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Friday.
